Mortgage platform architecture redesign
Led parts of the architecture redesign for a Swedish digital mortgage lender, and built the services and admin tooling behind its loan and risk data.
The challenge
Stabelo, a Swedish digital mortgage lender (acquired by Swedbank in 2025), wanted to broaden its mortgage product offering. Its platform architecture needed a redesign to support that, within the regulatory requirements that come with lending.
What we built
Led parts of the architecture redesign with the in-house team. Built Node.js microservices and APIs for loan and risk data, and the admin application administrators use to manage it. Worked with product owners to turn business and regulatory requirements into technical designs.
The result
The redesign enabled a broader mortgage product offering, with administrators working from a dedicated tool for loan and risk data.
